Rundle Street is the place to be at the moment in Adelaide, it is the hub for everything Fringe related. The Adelaide Fringe is more commonly associated with live shows and impromptu street parties, as should be the case of course. However, Renew Adelaide has brought new life to the Fringe this year with the showcasing of South Australian artists, designers and craftspeople at the Gathered. Market which has temporarily replaced the American Apparel store next to the Austral Hotel.
The collaborative efforts of Renew Adelaide’s Tim Boundy, and Gathered. Market’s Jenna O’Dell, have brought you this pop-up market. It is excitingly situated within the hustle and bustle of the Fringe, so is well-worth checking out.

Renew Adelaide has made leaps and bounds as a creative enterprise, making trendy use of vacant spaces in Adelaide. Gathered. Market is just one of the examples. Store holders have a range of locally made jewelry, candles and canvas artwork just to name a few. If you missed out on the Bowerbird Bazaar Design Market earlier in the year, make sure you don’t miss out on a chance to browse or shop at Gathered. Market.
South Australia is ‘heaps good’ at supporting local businesses, and Gathered. Market is a fantastic endeavor for this. This project really highlights the creativity and progressiveness Adelaide has, something which can really give Melbourne a run for their money.
Gathered. Market is open 12pm-9pm daily, and is the perfect gift-shopping venue. Easter and Mother’s Day are not far away, and Gathered. Market will have just what you’re looking for!
