It’s that time of the year again, Fringe! When Adelaide lights up and becomes a haven for the creative performing arts and an array of pop up venues across the state. Adelaide Food Central was kindly invited to the opening of Tomich Wine’s new pop up bar, ‘The Hive’. Set on the corner of East Terrace and Rundle street adjacent ‘Gluttony’, this location is perfect for a quality wine whilst you walk the festival or even a spot to catch up with friends over a wine. Tomich wines have developed a new concept to a pop up bar for their wines this year, remodelling a caravan into a makeshift bar set in a ‘garden’ themed area, inclusive of the white picketed fence!
They’re open 6pm-10pm, Tuesday -Thursday and 5pm-12am, Friday- Sunday. With the Tomich family being in the wine business for 3 generations, you know you’re going to get a good glass of wine when you step into ‘The Hive’. I highly recommend trying their best cellar the Pinot Grigio, it wont disappoint! So if you’re around the Fringe and looking for a charming little spot to have a drink, or drink some quality wine in a place that oozes ambiance, stop past Tomich wines pop up caravan bar, ‘The Hive’.
