The Flower Nook

Connecting Waymouth and Currie Streets, Topham Mall is a popular thoroughfare during the week. One store that you cannot miss is The Flower Nook, which is another successful Renew Adelaide project. The store is owned and run by Sophie Kresevic, who has a passion for floristry, through her part time work,  and interior architecture, through her studies. Sophie came across the space through Renew Adelaide, and her due diligence on the area lead her to open up a florist.

Sophie’s creative personality is displayed through her unique flower arrangements, however, pleasing customers is also high up on the list. “All of my customers are pretty much regulars as the same people walk through to and from work once or twice a day. That is probably my most favourite thing about the spot seeing those same people coming back and really building relationships with my customers.” says Sophie.

Building on the success of the Topham Mall store, Sophie has also opened a second shop in Eastwood. Living just around the corner and knowing the area well, Sophie fell in love with the space and her research indicated there were no other prominent florists in the area.

The Flower Nook isn’t just about flowers, they also stock plants and terrariums. They’re also helping other local businesses by stocking scented candles, gift cards, chocolate and even moisturiser!
