As more and more people look for heathier options when eating out, we’re seeing a rise in the number of froyo stores opening around Adelaide. Fruizberry is located down the popular Jetty Road cafe precinct in Glenelg and has been around for over 3 years.
They have a dozen froyos to choose from which are 98% fat free, contain live and active cultures and are 100% gluten free. Customers then have over 45 toppings to choose from which range from fresh fruit to nuts and lollies. There is also a selection of low fat smoothies to choose from which are a combination of froyo and fresh fruit. Waffles are also available if you want something a bit different with your froyo.

The decor is bright and funky with nice clean lines. The yoghurt machines are on one side of the room and lead to the toppings and counter area. The place is not particularly large but you could easily seat over 20 people here. Located on a corner position, there is plenty of natural light flowing through its floor to ceiling windows.

Today, I had the Watermelon Yoghurt with raspberries, blueberries and kiwi fruit. The yoghurt had a lovely thick consistency with a natural watermelon flavour. The sweetness of the fresh fruit complimented the already tasty froyo.

With friendly helpful staff and relaxed surroundings, Fruizberry is the place to go when you’re down at the bay and you want something a little sweet but healthy. The froyo is priced at $2.90 per 100g which is a small price to pay for something light and easy.
As a fan of froyo, I was impressed by the quality and taste of the froyo at Fruizberry.
