The newest place to open on Broadway is the Haa Ha Kitchen. While it looked promising from the outside, I was disappointed to find very few items on offer. There were pies and pasties, cakes and sweets, and sandwiches, but nothing much else.

This place has modern contemporary appearance that we see so often today. The nice clean lines, the timber benchtop, the low hanging light fittings, the polished timber flooring, the white tiling and the black and white colour scheme, all work very well. Set on a nice corner position, there is plenty of natural light flowing in from it’s dual frontage.

Today, I ordered the Chocolate Cupcake. The cupcake was soft and moist, and the chocolate icing not overly sweet. It was so simple, so well presented, and yet sufficiently satisfying.

The staff were friendly and the service was good. The atmosphere was relaxed and the pricing was reasonable. The cupcake set me back $3.90 which wasn’t too bad. Some more food offerings wouldn’t have gone astray though.
WHERE: 60A Broadway, Glenelg South

The cupcake looks so delicious!
