When I’m feeling indecisive at a pub, you really can’t go wrong with a Chicken Schnitzel Parmigiana. It’s not only about how the chicken is cooked. We look at the size and thickness of the schnitzel, the taste of the parmigiana sauce, the quantity of mozzarella and how well it’s been browned, the salad, and the chips.

hmm looking t it again , the following! Hotel Crown. Barker,general havelock,sevenhill.. they all look like a bad frozen ‘pub grub’ type?
Usually the schnitzels are bought premade or are made by the place themselves. I like to think so anyway!
The schnitzel should always be made in house! It’s those chips that worry me! Nasty looking frozen jobbies?

Two of my worsts – The Bath, Norwood, and Henley SLSC, I think they use the same frozen rubber chicken. I loved my chicken parmi at the Goolwa Hotel…. yummm
