Rebranding of businesses seems to be going on a lot lately, whether it be due to a change of owners or just to reinvigorate interest in an existing business.
The place used to be called the “Wave Gourmet Cafe and Bar” but is now known as “The Bowery Kitchen and Grocer”. It’s still a supermarket, bar and cafe. The layout is still the same and what I ordered previously is still available under the new name.

As a snack, I ordered the Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie. The brownie was very nicely presented and you could be easily fooled by it’s miniature size.
There are essentially 3 types of brownie textures; fudgy, chewie and cakey. This particular brownie was more fudgy. It was dense, moist with a chocolate and peanut butter interior. Peanut and chocolate usually work quite well together when used in the correct proportions, but in this case, they went overboard with the peanut butter. There were huge blobs of peanut butter which over powered the taste of the chocolate.

The staff were friendly and the service was fast and efficient. The atmosphere was relaxed and the cost of the brownie was $4, which was a fair price.
