Yutaka Sushi is one of several sushi stores with the same name around Adelaide. The Central Market store is a small store located close to the courts on Victoria Square. In what appears to be family run, you can see the sushi freshly made behind the counter. This place only sells individual sushi rolls and sushi packs.

For lunch, I ordered the Spicy Tuna Sushi. The tuna is out of a can and is mashed up. The chilli that is mixed in packs quite a kick and it certainly wakes you up. The cucumber is fresh and provides a nice crunchy texture. The sushi rice was a bit dry and the seaweed wrapping was of a good quality.

The staff were friendly and the service was fast and efficient. The pricing is slightly higher than their competitors with my sushi roll costing me $2.70. The average price for a sushi roll is about $2.50 and I’ve seen this particular roll for as low as $2.

Verdict: There is better and cheaper sushi out there.
