One of the latest dessert bars to open in Adelaide also doubles as a wine bar. Located towards the King William Street end of Waymouth Street, this venue has a long and narrow floor plan that has many twists and turns. A counter full of sweets made off site greets you at the entrance. A few high benches are scattered along the narrow walkway, and a colourful lit bar is located at the end of the hall. The decor is modern and contemporary, and the small space is cleverly used.

Tonight, I ordered the Apple Pistachio Cube. As the desserts are premade, the dish was available immediately. The apple flavoured macaron was delicious and well made. The exterior was soft and creamy, and small apple pieces were encased in the centre. The natural sweetness of the apple complimented the crunchiness of the pistachio.

The others commented that their desserts were nothing special. Some of the desserts looked familiar and are available at other stores.

The staff were friendly and the service was good. The atmosphere was relaxed, only because we were the only customers in the store. The pricing is a bit high for what it’s worth. My dessert was $9.50 but was easily finished with 2 or 3 bites.
There’s very little originality with the desserts at this place. They are mass produced and premade by third parties, with the presentation being average at best. With the option of drinking wine at this establishment, this place offers very little with regards to unique dessert varieties.

I’d like to thank the valued customer for his feed back. I’d like to say that we are a wine and dessert bar. We are one of the new small venue premises that doesn’t require a kitchen. We out source our dessert straight from a patisserie chef.
We do coffees as well as cocktails and dessert wine.
We are still at the soft launch stage and we still organising our menu and finalizing the prices.
