Roll and Roll isn’t the cheapest sushi store in town, but you shouldn’t be put off by the slightly higher prices.
After reading some positive reviews on the place, I decided to give it a go. Upon entering, you notice the store is rather small with seating available for about 5 people max. The sushi on offer looks impressive and making a decision is a difficult one.
Today, I decided to go for the Dragon Roll sushi. The sushi was made in front of me and I was quite impressed with the presentation. It looked exactly like the picture on the menu. The sushi itself was delicious! The combination of eel, cream cheese, avocado, white wine and eel sauce were melt in your mouth stuff! The inclusion of the cucumber was a nice touch because it gave it some crunch. The sushi rice was so soft and fluffy!

I felt my experience was more authentic because the staff were Japanese. It’s like having a Chinese person make Indian food, there’s that perception that it wouldn’t be quite the same. I think it’s their combination of fresh ingredients and white wine sauce that make their sushi amazing. The inclusion of unique ingredients such as peach, pumpkin, tartare sauce and white wine sauce work tremendously well.
Best sushi in Adelaide! It’s worth the extra money you’re paying. Check it out!
