Living in the city, Hotel Wright Street is one of my numerous locals. They have a great selection of beers and ciders, they have various dining areas and a beer garden, but more importantly, they do great food.

For lunch today, I ordered their Steak Sandwich. While it might look a little basic between two slices of normal bread, it’s probably one of the best I’ve ever had. The steak is nice and thick, yet lean and tender. You can taste the smokiness in the meat which other places fail to do. The vegetables are crisp, the onions caramelised and the bread lightly toasted.

The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. The food pricing is a little higher than other places but you get a decent meal. My favourite place to relax on any afternoon or evening.
