Haigh’s is simply chocolate heaven. Just about anything with chocolate in it tastes great, but Haigh’s Chocolates are somewhat better. Not the best on a world scale, but definitely the best in Adelaide. The quality of the chocolate here is right up there, and the texture is better than all the local competitors.

You feel like a kid in a candy store when walking through this place. There’s so much choice and variety. Some of the prices seem a bit high, but I’m prepared to pay a little bit extra for quality. The staff here are warm and friendly. Usually there’s free chocolate samples as you pay at the register and whatever you buy is nicely wrapped and well presented.

Not my favourite chocolate store in the world, but definitely my favourite store in Adelaide. It’s the best chocolate you’ll get without leaving the state!
