Located on Pulteney Street towards the end of Rundle Mall, Natee Thai offers all your traditional Thai favourites. The decor is simple and the service is average. There was no one to greet me when I entered the place, and customers have to order and pay at the counter towards the back of the restaurant.

Today, I ordered the Red Beef Curry. The meal arrived about 15 minutes after ordering. The table I was seated at had the remnants of somebody else’s lunch. The meal itself was quite nice and well presented. The beef was lean but overcooked. The vegetables were fresh and firm, and had been in there long enough to soak up the curry juices. The curry sauce was fantastic. Not too sweet with just the right amount of kick. The serving size was appropriate to satisfy an empty stomach. Not too much but not too little.

This place has areas they could improve upon, but the meal I had was quite nice. They have lunch time specials which represent good value for money.
