I find it annoying that most restaurants close their kitchens by about 9pm. La Trattoria is one of the few restaurants in Adelaide that buck this trend. Located on King William Street, this restaurant offers all your traditional Italian favourites. This family run business has staff that are warm and inviting. The service here is exceptional.

On this occasion I ordered the Calzone Rustico. The meals arrived not long after ordering and the meals arrived at the same time. My meal was delicious. The pizza dough wasn’t too thick and perfectly cooked. There was a generous amount of filling and the ingredients were fresh. The calzone was loaded with meaty bolognese sauce, just the way it should be.

This restaurant has been around for decades and there’s a reason why. The service is good, the atmosphere relaxed and the quality of the food is fantastic. This restaurant is one of the better places to eat Italian food in Adelaide.
