I love my wineries and with every wine tour, there is a need to sit down for some grub at some point during the day, just to soak in all that alcohol. On this occasion, we stopped off at Johnston Oakbank for their Lamb and Rosemary Pie. The pie was delicious! The lamb was succulent, tender and perfectly cooked in a thick tomato based gravy. I thought the serving was a bit conservative as I felt somewhere between not hungry and just full.

This place makes great wines and their food isn’t too bad either.
