Sushi Train is not the cheapest option when it comes to sushi. The quality is good and the food is freshly made, so that has to be a bonus. The store on Gouger Street is always busy and there always seems to be a line up. The staff are friendly and attentive, and are happy to make your dish to order if you can’t decide what to pick off the train.
For those who have never been to Sushi Train, the pricing is based on the plate colours of the dishes you choose. While the sushi train itself is a novel concept, the cost of the meal can add up if you pick half a dozen plates. It’s almost equivalent to going to a Japanese restaurant and dining there.
The food, quality and service are good if you want a quick Japanese meal but it can get expensive if you’re hungry!
