D’Artagnan

D’Artagnan is the most beautiful restaurant in Adelaide. I really need the person who decorated this restaurant to come to my place and give it a face lift. The decor is simply stunning. Everything from the chairs to the fireplace. This place certainly impresses and if you want to wow that special lady in your life, this is the place to take her.

On this particular occasion, I ordered the Rack of Lamb. The meal came out 25 minutes after ordering and all meals came out at the same time. The meal was beautifully presented and very tasty. Like all French restaurants, there is more emphasis on presentation rather than serving size. A common joke I have with my friends is that I need to go out for another meal after dining at a French restaurant. This occasion was no different. Costing close to $40, my dish was basically two lamb cutlets.

The service, in general, was good. One of the waitresses did spill drinks over a member in our group, so that did kind of put a dampener on the evening. On top of the expensive dishes, our group was charged a $30 administration fee for eating at the restaurant, as well as $10 from each person for the imported water. Between 14 people, we had a bill that was close to an eye opening $900.

D’Artagnan is a beautiful restaurant with quality food. For the most part, it was an enjoyable dining experience. Just make sure you bring lots of money when coming here.
