Regent Thai is one of the many Thai places located down O’Connell Street. I had never heard of this place before until a friend recommended it so I gathered a group of friends together and checked it out. The place was decorated nicely and the staff were friendly and inviting. One thing I wasn’t impressed with was the seating arrangements. As there were a dozen of us, the owners tried to have everyone seated next to each other by putting a round table next to a rectangular table.

On this particular occasion, I ordered the Beef Massaman. The meal came out within a reasonable time and the serving size was quite generous. The Beef Massaman was delicious! The flavours were just right and the beef was lean, tender and perfectly cooked. I loved how the chunks of beef just fell apart when I poked it with a fork.

Personally, I didn’t think this place was too bad. My meal here was quite enjoyable and if it wasn’t for the seating arrangements, I would have given it a better rating.
