Marion Hotel – Gin Fever

All things ‘Gin’ will be celebrated in a series of fun and exciting events at the award-wining Marion Hotel as part of their Gin Fever series, where visitors can expect to experience tastings, gin flights, feature cocktails, high teas culminating in a special Mother’s Day event.

Running for six weeks from Thursday 24 March to Tuesday 10 May, Gin Fever is a unique, limited-time opportunity to enjoy tastings from a range of five much-loved South Australian gins, including Kangaroo Island Spirits, Applewood, 78 Degree, Prohibition Liquor Co., 23rd Street Distillery, all available in the gin-inspired Fever-tree Garden.

Marion Hotel General Manager, Anna Hurley, is excited to bring this special event series to the hotel.

“Gin Fever is a way for us to showcase some amazing South Australian spirits and we know how much our customers love trying new gins!” Anna said.

Over the six weeks, the Marion Hotel will be featuring a range of different events for visitors to enjoy, including High Tea in the Garden on Saturdays and Sundays, from noon-5pm, and a special Mother’s Day G&Tea event on Sunday, May 8, including a G&T on arrival.

“We wanted to give people a reason to come back together and re-connect after a COVID interrupted festive season” Anna continued. “High tea is a great opportunity to get your besties together, and why not learn about some local SA gins while you’re at it!”

Friday night knock offs are also sorted, with tastings from rotating gin suppliers at a tasting bar in the garden from 4.30pm-6.30pm (excluding Good Friday), as well as a range of gin cocktails.

Gin flights are also available throughout Gin Fever. Each tasting flight features five gins, accompanied with detailed tasting notes for the ultimate gin connoisseur.

Bookings are definitely recommended for High Tea in the Garden.
