Barossa Valley Chocolate Company – Largest Range of Artisan Chocolate Christmas Products in SA

Ahead of Christmas, Barossa Valley Chocolate Company have launched South Australia’s largest range of hand-made, artisan chocolate Christmas products, and it is magical.

There are over 80 chocolatey Christmas themed chocolates including Father Christmas’, Christmas trees, reindeer, teddy bears, angels and stars all meticulously hand-finished by the chocolatiers in their state-of-the-art in-house kitchen, using white, milk, dark, and ruby chocolate from the Daintree, Belgium and beyond.

Boris the Reindeer is already a fan favourite, created by one of the Barossa Valley Chocolate Company’s talented chocolatiers, Stephen. He explains, “Boris is not your typical reindeer, he didn’t make the cut when Santa was recruiting, so he sat around and spent his time eating carrots and other Christmas goodies, which explains his rather ample figure!”

Barossa Valley chocolatiers have had fun creating the Christmas range for the very first time. Each Christmas product has a name and story, bringing to life the magic of Christmas.

Barossa Valley Chocolate Company will feature a special Christmas Cave with Father Christmas visiting from Saturday 15 December until Tuesday 24 December. Every child that visits Santa will receive a special Christmas chocolate pop and have the opportunity to get their photo taken with him.

The Barossa Valley Chocolate Company’s famous wine and chocolate pairing experience is also celebrating the festive season.

A white chocolate and cranberry piece matches Vineyard Road’s festive Sparkling Brut Cuvee, a milk chocolate and gingerbread flavoured piece is matched with their sparkling Shiraz, and a dark chocolate with hand-made raspberry candy pairs delightfully well with a full-bodied Fine Acres Shiraz. Leaving the best until last, a Gold Chocolate with cinnamon spiced apple sits alongside a fruity Moscato.

They are introducing for the very first time Gold Chocolate, expertly crafted and composed from a fine selection of ingredients such as caramelised sugar and milk, Gold has an intense yet balanced caramel chocolate taste, with rich notes of toffee, butter, cream and an exciting dash of salt.

Barossa Valley Chocolate Company Co-Founder and Marketing Director, Sandy Day said, “We are so proud of each and every one of our chocolate Christmas products. Each mould has been hand-picked and made with love, so everyone can take a piece of Barossa Valley Chocolate home with them at this special time of the year.”

“Our motto at Barossa Valley Chocolate Company is Fun For All, we know we have achieved this with our Christmas range. The products are gorgeous will put a smile on all of our customer’s face,” concluded Sandy.

Located in the heart of the Barossa Valley just outside of Tanunda, the Barossa’s newest tourist attraction is surrounded by beautiful vineyards that produce wines for Vineyard Road, which is available at the cellar door.

The ice creamery is serving freshly made gelato as usual, and the 150-seat Benni’s Café which serves a delicious menu of locally sourced food that is both fancy and fun. All of this can be enjoyed inside or on the spacious deck overlooking the spectacular water.

Barossa Valley Chocolate Company will be open throughout Christmas every day except Christmas and Boxing Day. The attraction is open 9am – 5pm and Benni’s Cafe serves food from 11am – 4pm.
