Disney’s Aladdin The Broadway Musical – VIP Night

Get hype Adelaide. The sell-out Disney phenomenon that has already received critical acclaim in both Sydney and Melbourne is making its way to Adelaide. The cast is ready, and the stage is set to give the people of Adelaide the most energetic and entertaining Disney show of all time.

Adelaide Food Central have been treated to a sneak peak of the upcoming show and we are delighted to tell you this is going to be a show for the ages. Hosted at Electra House Hotel we had a chance to meet 3 of the main people casted in Disney’s Aladdin, which will be showing from April the 6th to May the 5 in 2019. Treated to a beautiful duet by Graeme Isaako (Aladdin) and Perth newcomer Shubshri Kandiah (Jasmine) and a rendition of “Friend Like Me” by Gareth Jacobs (Genie) and accompanying dancers.

This is without a doubt going to be one of the best productions to visit Adelaide maybe ever. An amazing show has been put together with a prodigious production from costume design, sets, choreography. Since 2011, a whole lot of heart and soul has been placed into this show.

It’s Sydney and Melbourne programs even went the extra mile to perform an autism-friendly version of the show which included the removal of strobe lighting, pyrotechnics, reduction of jarring sounds and a dimmed lighting set up. All to provide a more supportive environment for autistic patrons.

It goes without saying that all cast and crew have placed a tremendous amount of love and energy into bringing this to life in Adelaide. With an immensely experienced cast with some fresh faces, new to the scene discovered for the Adelaide production of Aladdin, we are sure to see the birth of a new talent in the worldwide musical scene.

Aladdin commences in April 2019 with 36 shows over 30 days there’s no excuse not to mark it in your calendar and see the Disney classic brought to life. Tickets can be purchased here.
