La Boca Bar and Grill has just shaken up its late night weekend offerings just in time for summer. Launching tonight, the Argentinian restaurant and bar will be a one stop shop for dinner, drinks and dancing. Local and interstate DJs will take the stage every Friday night and live bands will perform every Saturday evening, replacing the former VIVA nightclub offering.
Stamford Plaza Adelaide, which runs La Boca, has revamped the space with a new stage, lighting, seating, artwork and furnishings. Stamford Hotels Adelaide Area General Manager Russell Cool said the transformation would give La Boca a fresh new vibe. “We’ve listened to feedback from our guests and diners who love the unique space
but want a more intimate and refined experience reminiscent of a small bar,” Mr Cool said.
“La Boca Up Late will offer visitors a vibrant small bar experience in a more spacious venue and a really convenient location. It will also be one of the only places in the city where you can get food served after 11pm.” says Mr Cool. La Boca will offer a late-night food menu available until 1am and a great range of specialty cocktails, great wines and craft beers.
The popular restaurant will continue to offer its authentic lunch and dinner menus, prepared by Argentinian chef Nicolas Arriola, seven days a week. “We expect La Boca will be buzzing over summer with plenty of people out and about enjoying Adelaide’s festival atmosphere and attending major concerts and sport at Adelaide Oval,” Mr Cool said.
In a major coup for the State, Stamford Hotels & Resorts opened its first La Boca venue in Adelaide in 2014 before opening a sister restaurant in Sydney.
