In the last couple of years, the business names at this location have changed so often, I’ve found it difficult to keep up. The latest business to open its doors here is Tigris Take Away, a middle eastern fast food outlet serving up chickens, burgers, yiros, seafood and salads. These offerings are all very similar to what was sold here under the previous business names.
For lunch, I ordered the small AB Pack which consists of chicken and lamb. The dish arrived 15 minutes after ordering and was nicely presented on a plate. The serving size was reasonable and on par with how much you would get elsewhere. The chicken and lamb were well seasoned, but a little on the dry side. The chips were nice and crunchy, and were of a good quality. There was a generous amount of sauce added with the chilli sauce packing some good heat. The garlic sauce was not your Greek variety and was a bit sour.
The staff were friendly and the service was fast and efficient. The atmosphere was relaxed and the pricing was average with the cost of the AB being $15. I would say a lot of their customers would be late night party animals looking for something to eat in the early hours of the morning. At that time, anything tastes good.
