Elementary Coffee is a micro roastery located in a warehouse on Young Street. Set in a large open space, the layout of the place was computer generated with a lot of consideration placed on the comfort of customers. The decor is casual and minimalist, and there is plenty of natural light making this place light and airy. However, it’s not just about a great place to relax and have coffee, the coffee is actually good here as well. The beans are roasted on Saturdays and use a blend from Brazil and Columbia which is available all year round for consistency.
Of course if you’re feeling like something more substantial, Elementary Coffee has you covered with some all day breakfast options and sandwiches from 11am. The Ham & Cheese was ordered today and did not disappoint. San Jose smoked ham and generous amounts of cheese sat on top of a subtly sweet chutney. Simple and yet satisfying. They do have slow cooked meats on the menu which are available from Tuesday to Friday.
Elementary Coffee is open from 7:30am-3:30pm from Monday to Friday. Check it out!
