Every time I walk past Felici, it’s always full. I’m not sure whether it’s all the foot traffic that goes past or whether they just serve great food and beverages. Anyway, it was time to find out. The food menu is written on a chalkboard along the main wall. There are a handful of basic breakfast options, an even smaller selection of lunch offerings and pizza.

This place is conveniently located at one entrance of Ebeneezer Place, which is the trendy hipster part of town. The decor is stylish and funky with a large communal table running through the centre of the room and low hanging light fittings that go with it. The nice corner position allows plenty of natural light to flow through it’s dual frontage.

Today, I had the Cacao and Goji Berry Protein Ball which is sourced from Supertreats Adelaide. The protein ball had a classic chocolate flavour and was coated in goji berries. The berries were slightly bitter with a sweet aftertaste. This seems to complement the protein ball well.

The staff were friendly and the service was fast and efficient. The atmosphere was relaxed and the pricing was fairly average. The cost of the protein ball was $4.50, which I thought was a bit rich considering it wasn’t particularly large. Of course, one had to consider rent, bills and labour costs.
Based on the traffic that comes in and out of this place, they’re certainly doing something right.
