Located close to the beginning of Jetty Road is Second Chapter, a sister store to the Zest Cafe Gallery, which also happens to be in the area. Serving all day breakfast and lunch, customers have the choice of salads, wraps, baguettes, bagels, Turkish bread with assorted fillings.

The decor is modern and well presented with a fair amount of seating inside, as well some extra tables out on the pavement. The glass cabinetry and the low hanging light fittings are fairly typical of what see in cafes today.

My friend ordered the Long Macchiato, which he said had too much milk in it.

I ordered the Chocolate Walnut Brownie. It was a perfect combination of dense and fudgey, and moist and chewy. The walnuts added a nice crunchy texture to a small but decadent sweet.

The staff were friendly and the service was good. The atmosphere was relaxed and the pricing was reasonable. The macchiato was $3 and the brownie was $4, which is fairly average. I’ve been told that this place does some of the better coffees in the area, although they did manage to stuff up my friend’s macchiato. My brownie, on the other hand, was very good.
