Nestled behind a Medical Centre on Anzac Highway is Eve’s Organics, Adelaide’s first organic bakery. Using 100% organic grains, the handcrafted bread does not contain fats, sugars, additives or preservatives. They also have a selection of sweet and savoury products which are not as healthy.

While the store is small, most of the customers are take away, however, there are four seats inside if you wish to sit down.

Today, I ordered the Orange Crush Spelt Sable which is a French round shortbread cookie. The biscuit was delicate and crumbly, and had a nice smooth zesty centre.

The staff were friendly and the service was good. The cost of the biscuit was $4 which was fair. I saw pies and pasties for $4 and sausage rolls for $3.50, which is good value for a bakery.
