Do Duck Inn is located on Exchange Place right in the heart of the city. This quaint little cafe has a strong focus on fresh produce and the use of local ingredients. Their offerings include sandwiches, hot meals, soups and sweets.
For lunch, I ordered the Jumbo Burger. The meal was ready after a 15 minute wait and was nicely presented. The beef patty was thick but smaller than the diameter of the bun. It took half a dozen bites before I had any of the meat in my mouth. The patty was well cooked as it had a nice pinkish centre. The egg was cooked sunny side up with the yolk nice and runny. The tomato and lettuce was fresh, while the white onions were lightly fried. The bun was one of those typical sesame bread rolls. Looking back, it really was a basic burger.

My friend had the Pumpkin Pasta. It didn’t look appetising but my friend said it was good.

The staff were friendly and the service was good. The atmosphere was relaxed and the pricing was very reasonable. The cost of the burger set me back $8.90 which is a fairly cheap lunch these days.
Verdict: A good place to come for home style meals in the heart of the city. The pricing is cheap but don’t expect anything fancy.
