The thing I love about the Central Market is that the food is cheap, and we’re not even talking about sitting inside a food court. Noodle and Dumplings is a prime example. The food is northern Chinese and no main meal over $11, and this includes rice as well. The store itself is deceptive in size. While it may look small, you could easily cram 20 people in here.
Tonight, I ordered the Sizzling Mongolian Beef. The dish was ready in less than 10 minutes but the presentation was below average. About 10% of the dish was flowing over into the serving tray. The beef was lean and tender, and a generous amount was provided. The meat seemed to be tenderised too much which tells me that it has lost all of its nutrients. The vegetables were fresh and crisp, although the dish itself seemed a bit bland.

The staff were friendly and the service was fast and efficient. The atmosphere was relaxed and the pricing was more than reasonable. The dish wasn’t that great, but you kind of get what you pay for at this place.
