Abdul’s Kitchen

Abdul’s Kitchen is a store located in Central Market Arcade. One section of the store stocks packaged Middle Eastern products, while the remaining part is the kitchen area. There’s a selection of wraps, sandwiches, rolls, foccacias, shaslicks, burgers, salads and dips. There’s even a range of take home family packs if you don’t have time to sit down and eat.

Today, I ordered the Double Cheeseburger. The burger was ready after a 15 minute wait and was average in presentation. The beef was marinated with Middle Eastern flavours, thin and slightly overcooked. The cheese was nicely melted over the beef patty, while the pickles gave the burger a crunchy texture. The bun was nicely toasted, however the quality of the bread was similar to what you would find on a supermarket shelf.

The staff were friendly and the service was good. Pricing is reasonable with most products under $10. If you combine a Middle Eastern supermarket with a Lebanese fast food takeaway, this place would be it. The food is OK, but nothing to write home about. I think the cheaper prices at this place reflect this.

    1. Thank you for visiting my blog! Hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 🙂

  2. Woah! I’m really loving the template/theme of
this blog. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very hard to get
that “perfect balance” between usability and visual appeal.
I must say that you’ve done a very good job with
this. Additionally, the blog loads extremely fast for me on Opera.
    Outstanding Blog!
