I’m a regular at the German Club when it comes to Oktoberfest celebrations. Having been to Germany late last year, I am impressed that certain parts of the venue have been decked out similarly to what you find over there. Every Friday night in October, the place is packed to capacity. The beer and cider is cheap, and the atmosphere is vibrant. It’s certainly the place to be at this time of year.
I’ve had many meals off their menu and I must say I haven’t been impressed in the past. Last night, I ordered the Cheese Kransky. The dish came with side servings of mash potato and sauerkraut. Ready 15 minutes after ordering the dish was nicely presented. The dish was simple really and something you couldn’t stuff up. With a $13 price tag, it’s a bit more than I would expect to pay for a sausage.

Kranskys aside, this is a great place to go for Oktoberfest celebrations. The music, the dancing, the crowds, the beer, the atmosphere. Make sure you check this place out every Friday in October!
