Dumpling Spot is a spot where they sell dumplings and other Chinese style dishes in the Renaissance Arcade food court. The place itself is large enough to have it’s own indoor seating, however, there is plenty of seating available in the food court area.
Today, I ordered a serve of their signature Pan Fried Pork Dumplings. The dumplings were served a good 20 minutes after ordering and they weren’t even nicely presented. They looked like they were just thrown onto a plate. The dumplings were way too oily. You could see the oily residue on the plate and there would be a squirt of oil flying out from the dumplings after each bite. Some of the dumplings were slightly browned on one side, while others were undercooked. The filling inside the dumpling was moist and well flavoured.

The staff were nice and friendly, and the pricing was reasonable. I paid $9 for 12 dumplings, which would have been filling had they been cooked properly. Dumpling Spot is just not the spot for dumplings. Obviously!
