The Earl of Leicester is a nice pub on quiet suburban street in Parkside. The pub has a lot of old world charm with good use of dark wood and an exposed timber roof.
This place has a reputation for serving up large schnitzels. Keen to see what all the fuss is about, I ordered the Chicken Parmi. Ready after a 15 minute wait, the schnitzel was nicely presented. The chicken was indeed large and perfectly cooked. The Napoletana sauce was rich and tomatoey in texture, while the mozzarella topping was generous in proportion and a nice golden brown.

The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the service is above average. The atmosphere is relaxed and the pricing is on par with other pubs.
