Every Friday morning from about 7am, the pop up patisserie From Scratch sets up their stall next to the super trendy Coffee Branch on Leigh Street. There’s no signage indicating who they are, but I’m pretty sure I was at the right place. Yummy pastries and hot coffee are a winning combination, particularly on a cold Friday morning.

Today, I ordered the She’s Apples. Minced apples, crunchy walnuts, cinnamon and custard all wrapped in delicate flaky pastry. The flavours were so rich it’s something you need to experience first hand. The staff are friendly and the service is fast and efficient. Just the way I like it!

Not a bad way to start the best day of the week!
