The literal translation for Luna Rosso is Red Moon. Located on the busy cafe precinct of King William Road, Cafe Luna Rosso offers your traditional Italian fare. The decor is modern but basic, and the service is OK.
On this particular occasion, I ordered the Calzone Rustico. The meal came out after a 20 minute wait and all meals arrived at the same time. My dish was well presented and was huge. To take a photo of this dish, I actually had to stand back to fit everything into the picture.
The dough was well cooked and the inside ingredients were average. The amount of mozzarella binding everything together was sufficient. The bolognese topping was more than generous. The meal as a whole was good.

The atmosphere was relaxed. The staff here at times were over attentive, and at particular times, were annoying. Other than that, everyone was satisfied with their meals. My dish wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but it was good. I might come here once in every blue moon, or red moon for that matter.
