When there’s a wine tour of the McLaren Vale, we always have lunch at Oscar’s. On this occasion there were 18 of us and we were seated in the outdoor dining area. The staff were friendly, however, we found the service to be a bit slow. The place was basically decorated and offered your traditional Italian dishes. The atmosphere was relaxed and we could see the number of customers build up the longer we were there.

Today, I ordered the Supreme Pizza. The meal came out 20 minutes after ordering and was delicious. The ingredients were fresh and the base was of a consistent and appropriate thickness. The pizza spent the perfect amount of time in the oven as the crust was crunchy but not hard enough to damage your teeth.

The service was slow. It took them 30 minutes to give us the bill. Apart from that, I was impressed with the quality of the food and my overall experience was quite enjoyable. I’ve been to other restaurants in the area, and this one was up there.
