I must I admit, I really like Star of Siam. A group of us were indecisive about where to eat after the Cirque du Soleil show, and this place was happy to accommodate our last minute booking. Located on the Gouger Street food precinct, Star of Siam offers all your traditional Thai favourites. The staff here are friendly and attentive, and the service was exceptional.

I like to judge a Thai restaurant by it’s Massaman Beef Curry, so as I do with every Thai restaurant I go to, I ordered it. The meal arrived 20 minutes after ordering and all meals arrived at the same time. The curry was tasty and delicious. The flavour was exactly as I expected, and the sauce had perfect consistency. The sugar content in the curry was spot on. The beef was lean and the serving size was larger than your usual main meal. In fact, I had to have 3 servings of rice so that I could finish off the curry!

I was quite impressed after dining here. The atmosphere, the service and the food quality were all exceptional. I am definitely a fan of this place and will be certainly be coming back!
