Manee Siam is a small Thai restaurant on Goodwood Road. The decor here is basic, with the restaurant offering all your traditional Thai dishes. The staff here are friendly and inviting, and the service is exceptional.

Today, I ordered the Massaman Beef Curry. The meal arrived within 20 minutes of ordering, and all meals arrived at the same time. For the most part, the beef was lean, however, there were several fatty bits in the curry. The potato was soft, however, it hadn’t been in the curry long enough to absorb the flavours. The curry sauce was subtly sweet and the flavours were right. I did think the sauce itself was a bit watery.

Not a bad experience at this place. The dish I had could have been better, however, the people I was with said their dishes were good, so I’ll have to give this place the benefit of the doubt.
