I didn’t know this place existed until a friend suggested we go there for lunch. Located within Gawler Arcade this store offers your traditional Japanese fare. There weren’t too many customers at the time of visiting possibly due to the number of sushi stores around Adelaide and the fact that not too many people know about this place.

The menu was fairly basic, the staff were friendly and our meals were served promptly. On this particular occasion, I ordered the Smoked Salmon Donburi. The meal was delicious and satisfying! The amount of smoked salmon was generous, the rice was perfectly cooked and the avocado was fresh. The tangy mayonnaise balanced the dish and the hint of wasabi added an extra dimension with every bite. The only fault with the dish were the fish bones I found in the smoked salmon.

If you’re out and about for a quick and cheap Japanese meal, I would definitely recommend this place a visit!
