Oppa Kang Nam style!… Kang Nam style!.. op, op, op, op… Oppa Kang Nam style!
I was recently recommended this place by a co-worker who came here for lunch. Being a fan of Korean food, I decided to check this place out.
The restaurant is a bit further up Currie Street towards Light Square. I thought the signage was a bit small and to my surprise there was board with handwriting on it telling me the restaurant was located on level one of the building. As you walk into the building, its almost as though you’re walking up the stairs of an old office block.
When I entered the restaurant I was greeted by one of their friendly staff who escorted me to a seat. I decided to order the Pork Bando. The meal was delicious and well presented. The pork was lean, well cooked, perfectly marinated and had a good kick to it. The kim chi wasn’t the best kim chi i’ve ever had, but it was pretty good. The meal serving was generous and enough to satisfy an empty stomach. The meal came out in about 15 minutes which was I thought was good. The plates and utensils were clean.

While it’s not the most attractive restaurant around, i thought the food was pretty good and represented good value for money. I’d recommend other people check this place out!
