What a pleasant surprise when a Danish steakhouse franchise decide to open their doors in Adelaide. Located in a beautiful historic building on Hutt Street, the internal decor is modern and spacious. The salad bar is unique and sits in the centre of the restaurant. The tables and chairs you would find in a upmarket version of Ikea, although we did find it difficult to hang our jackets off the directors chairs. The staff here were warm and inviting and the restaurant offers your full range of meat dishes.
On this occasion, I ordered the 500g 100 Day Grain Fed Beef Ribeye. The ordering system at this place is unique. Each table has a letter and number and each person is given an ordering card. It specifies what you wish to order, how you like your steak cooked (if that is what you ordered) and the accompaniments. All meals arrived after 30 minutes and at the same time. My steak was tender, juicy and cooked perfectly. The garlic butter on the steak was amazing. The baked potato was a perfect match for the steak.

This is quite a novel place to visit. The menu prices are bit higher but you do get the quality and service that you would expect. I’d definitely come back here another time.
