Katsumoto is a hidden gem within Adelaide Arcade. Not your typical Japanese restaurant but one for traditional home cooked meals. The place is small yet vibrant, the staff are warm and inviting, and the service was exceptional.
While there isn’t a large selection to choose from on the menu, it’s not necessarily a bad thing. I would rather the chef be able to cook a few dishes properly rather than a whole range of mediocre ones. On this particular occasion I ordered the Katsu curry. The curry was amazing! The crumbed pork was tender and well cooked. The curry sauce was perfectly flavoured and not too spicy. Combined together the curry was delicious, tasty and satisfying.

My coworker tells me that the Katsu curry is an easy dish to make at home but I would just rather come here instead.
