It wouldn’t be a proper trip in Hahndorf without visiting the German Cake Shop towards the end of the day. You only need to come to this store to experience one thing, the Bee Sting cake.

The Bee Sting cake is amazing! The cake itself is light and sweet, while the honey, almond and caramel crunch topping is the most delicious part. You can taste the hint of vanilla in the custard, and the crumbs have just the right amount of tenderness.

There are other things on the menu here, but I only come here for one thing.
