The decor here is very eclectic. On one side, there is a wall full of mirrors, while on the kitchen and counter area reminds me of an old style kitchen area. The inside space isn’t very big at all and I think they most you’ll fit is about 20 people.

For breakfast, I had the Baked Eggs Cocotte. Underneath the eggs is a potato rosti, mushrooms, pancetta and cheese. The dish was served with a side of toast and tomato chutney that came in a cute little jar.

As indicated on the menu, the dish takes 15 minutes to cook, and it was that exact time that the meal arrived at my table. The meal was nicely presented with good use of garnishings.

The two baked eggs were perfectly cooked. The egg white was firm while the yolk was still runny. The potato rosti was brown and crisp around the edges, while the mushroom was soft and delicate. The pancetta had a smokey saltiness which gave the dish more depth. Combined with the natural sweetness of the tomato chutney and the crusty bread, it was a really good breakfast.

The owner was very friendly and welcoming, and the service from him was very good. The waitress that took my order on the other hand, acted like she’d rather be somewhere else. I asked for tap water and that never came. The atmosphere was relaxed with many locals coming in for breakfast in the morning. The pricing is fairly is average with my meal setting me back $15.50.

The service was average but the food was really good.
