Cherry Blossom Sushi is a sushi franchise that has 7 stores across the state. One of their newer stores is located on Henley Beach Road in Torrensville.

Unlike some of their other stores, this particular store is standalone and has seats for just under a dozen people. While their normal seating is practical, I found their bench seating to be very uncomfortable. The area under the bench table is used for storage and this leaves no leg room when customers sit down.

The fit out isn’t too bad. The place looks modern and clean, and I thought the window picture of Mt Fuji was quite clever. Sushi rolls and sushi packs are what they mainly offer, but I did see gelati out of the corner of my eye.

For lunch, I ordered the Inside Out Teriyaki Sushi Roll. The teriyaki chicken was well marinated and the meat was nice and tender. The sushi rice was soft and moist which indicated it was freshly made. It was pretty good.

The staff were friendly and the service was fast and efficient. The atmosphere was relaxed even amongst the busy lunch time rush. The cost of the sushi was $2.70 which is fairly average these days.
