Grange Pizza Bar is located metres away from Grange Jetty and is a popular place for beach goers to grab a pizza and sit down by the beach, particularly during the Summer. The place itself is nothing impressive, and it doesn’t have to be, as most of their clientele are take away customers. There are two seats available in store if you can’t wait to eat your pizza. The menu is fairly straight forward with a selection of traditional and gourmet pizzas, and pasta dishes available. Their pizzas come in 4 sizes, from 9 inches all the way to 18 inches.
Tonight, I ordered the Grange Special (ham, mushroom, olives, capsicum, anchovies). I was told it was going to take 15 minutes to make and cook, so there were no issues there. The pizza was well presented and the amount of toppings was sufficient. The toppings were fresh and you could taste it with each bite. They also use their own special Grange tomato sauce which actually tastes quite good. Their crust is nice and thin, and consistent in thickness throughout. It was a surprisingly good pizza.

The pizza bar appears to be family owned, and the husband and wife team were ever so friendly. The service was good and the pricing is fairly reasonable. If I could make any criticisms, I would say there could have been more topping on my pizza, but given the cheap prices, I’d say it was fair.
It’s a great place to get pizza and the sit down by the beach and watch the sunset!
