If it wasn’t for the name of this place you’d think it was just a typical lunch bar selling sandwiches and rolls. They do sell these items, however, the Vietnamese owner also has Roast Pork rolls on the menu.
Without any hesitation, I ordered one. Made on the spot and packaged in a blank white paper bag. The roast pork that they use is phenomenal. The pork was well marinated and had a good ratio of meat and fat. The skin was nice and crunchy, and not too hard to break any teeth. The pickled carrot was provided in generous amounts and the vegetables were fresh and crisp. The cucumber and pickled carrot added a nice crunchy texture, while the egg mayonnaise gave the roll good balance. The bread was nice and crusty which is the way it should be.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was fast and efficient. The cost of the roll was $5.50 which is 10% more than their nearby competitor around the corner, however, it was well worth it.
I will certainly come back to this place.
