Michel’s Patisserie is franchise that specialises in sweets, savouries and coffee. The Central Market store is located inside Central Market Arcade, and is run by a friendly couple.

Today, I ordered on of their Valentine’s day inspired Chocolate Cupcakes. The chocolate cake was soft and moist, while the chocolate icing was rich and decadent. The chocolate hearts were firm and not too sweet. The cupcake was rather small in size and I’m debating whether it was worth the $4.50 price tag.

The staff are friendly and the service is fast and efficient. For the most part, the product pricing is reasonable, but it still pays to shop around.
