Vietnam is a small food bar located on the corner of Days Road and Regency Road. You wouldn’t think it’s the best of locations, but this place has plenty of support from the local Asian residents and the educational institution nearby.
Now there’s a fine art to a Vietnamese roll, and having been here many times in the past, it took some time to get used to their use of Spanish onion. The other components are fairly spot on; a crusty bread roll, rich egg mayonnaise, crunchy cucumber, pickled carrots and radishes, coriander, soy sauce, white pepper and fresh chilli. The all important ingredient, the roast pork, is hit and miss. Today’s roast pork was rather fatty, and the crunchy skin was notably absent. The amount of filling was satisfactory and good value for money considering the cheap price tag.

The Roast Pork Roll here is one the better you can get in Adelaide, however, there are a few places nearby that set the benchmark.
