Located at the rear of The Lobby food court on Waymouth Street is Kucha Kucha, a small Japanese eatery. It has all your Japanese take away favourites as well as a small selection of sushi. The premises in which it is situated is modern with magnificent high ceilings and an abundance of natural light flowing through the glass facade.

Today, I ordered one of their mixed sushi packs. The sushi rice was soft, delicate and perfectly cooked. The cooked tuna was moist and soaked in a tangy mayonnaise. The prawns were juicy and the salmon was fresh. With complimentary wasabi and soy sauce, it was both delicious and satisfying.

The staff were friendly and the service was fast and efficient. The atmosphere was relaxed and the pricing is on par with other sushi stores. Certainly a good find in the heart of the central business district.
